Mayhem Compete
Whether you are looking to improve skills such as gymnastics, strength, and aerobic capacity, or have the goal of competing in local competitions and beyond, the Competitor package provides the tools you need.
The two tracks included in this package are what our Athletes have trusted to get them to the next level of performance, even the CrossFit Games.
Mayhem 30 / Bodyweight & Minimal
A daily workout that will include a warm-up, cool down, and workout notes with movement explanation, scaling options, intended stimulus, time caps, and attainable goals.
This track was created for those who are beginning their fitness journey, frequently travel with limited-to-no equipment, or someone who wants to workout at the convenience of their own home. All you need is yourself and a small space to move.
Which material is needed?
One set of dumbbells, weight varies depending on fitness level and comfortability.
Jump rope, optional Step stool, bench, or a sturdy box.
Mayhem Bodybuilding
This track is for anyone looking for a traditional bodybuilding program to supplement their CrossFit training or include additional accessory movements. Mayhem Bodybuilding is also highly effective when performed on its own as a low intensity, no impact training option.
The weekly split typically includes the following for 6 days of training: Upper Body Push, Upper Body Pull, Lower Body Push/Pull, Monostructural Workout, Shoulder/Glutes, Arms & Core.
Each day’s workouts include warm ups, cool downs, and workout notes that clearly explain the intended stimulus and movement explanation.
Mayhem Masters / Teens
We use the same philosophy and programming methodology across all of Mayhem. That means many of the workouts you see within Mayhem Masters or Mayhem Teens will often look similar to Mayhem Compete and other Mayhem tracks. The difference is, we tailor the volume, intensity and recovery time to specific Age Group Athlete’s needs across the age group categories of: 14-15, 16-17, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65+.
Many of the scaling modifications vary from age to age, but are based off the CrossFit Games Competitive Season (The Open, QuarterFinals, SemiFinals & Games), and we intentionally adjust the lifting, load, gymnastic volume, and recovery programmed to best suite the unique needs of all Age Group athletes.
